Our upgraded photogrammetric platform, PHOTOMOD 7.1, is now available: new functions and software

PHOTOMOD 7.1 is the continued development of our new approach to photogrammetric processing of remote sensing data. This approach is continuously perfected transformation of the PHOTOMOD software product line into a photogrammetric platform that consists of several software components (joined together by general algorithms, ideology, and data organization), and can function on numerous computing facilities.

We have made a number of great new functional improvements to create PHOTOMOD 7.1 faster and robust:

New and improved algorithms:

· block layout independency of the aerial triangulation;

· new LAS filters;

· selfcalibration algorithm improvements for big off-nadir angle imagery;

· AT algorithm modifications when several cameras are involved in one project;

· New parameter presets for the aerial triangulation (feature-based correlator);

· and more.

New functions:

· Pléiades Neo support (Airbus D&S);

· preliminary adjustment option when automeasuring GCPs from reference raster;

· loading previously saved adjustment results for adjustment “by steps”;

· DEM control by vector object – writing selected attributed to the output csv-file;

· Measurements over 3D-model;

· and more.

Speeding up:

· significant acceleration of point cloud (LAS) calculation;

· biltateral filtering in distributed mode;

· speeding up of holes filling process;

· and more.

New software:

PHOTOMOD AutoUAS — new software for fully automatic processing of UAS images with the simplest interface.  

PHOTOMOD StereoClient —new application for remote work in professional stereomode.
