The G-Ros company, the South Korean partner of Racurs, demonstrated PHOTOMOD capabilities for the National Geographic Information Institute (NGII), which is responsible for cartographic and geodesy application in the Republic of Korea. The ability of PHOTOMOD to process imageries of almost all commercially available survey systems and complete support of data format of KOMPSAT were highly appreciated by specialists of the Institute. The result was the inclusion of PHOTOMOD in the list of the certified photogrammetric systems.

According to the South Korean low, to carry out topographic works financed by the government, it is necessary to have the license of NGII. One of the conditions for obtaining the license is the use of the certified photogrammetric system.

Racurs has been successfully cooperating with the key South Korean companies of remote sensing market, being a partner of SI Imaging Services — the exclusive supplier of KOMPSAT data. Our companies jointly export geospatial solutions, based on the Korean satellite images and Russian photogrammetric technologies PHOTOMOD. Taking into account the activity of the Asian, including the South Korean market, the 19th International Scientific and Technical Conference “From Imagery to Digital Reality: ERS & Photogrammetry” will be held in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, October 28-31, 2019.
