RACURS Company, a leader in digital photogrammetry, announces its participation in the publication of the collection: "Technological Solutions of the Russian Federation for sustainable development" dedicated to the best technological solutions in the field of sustainable development and digital transformation of society.
This collection, developed and published by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, is intended to demonstrate real-world examples and strategies of companies aimed at achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
The collection is a catalog of the best corporate programs and practices for building a sustainable future and achieving national and global goals in social, economic and environmental terms.
RACURS’ case on the development and implementation of digital photogrammetric solutions PHOTOMOD and their contribution to SDG 9 “Industrialization, innovations and infrastructure”, SDG 4 “Quality education”, SDGs 14-15 “Environmental protection and climate change”.
PHOTOMOD photogrammetric platform is a complex solution for processing optical and radar remote sensing data, creating orthophotomosaics, maps, DTM and DSM, which is important for digitalization and management of urban spaces (SDGs 9, 11); creating digital models of surface displacement, maps of surface classes and detection of changes, finding and geospatial localization of objects for environmental monitoring (SDGs 14-15).
RACURS offers tools for the digital transformation of cities and regions, including the creation of digital twins of territories by obtaining metrically accurate 3D information about the terrain. RACURS’ technologies enable transformation of remote sensing data into useful georeferenced information and could be integrated into comprehensive solutions for sustainable development.
