Racurs participated in Geospatial World Forum — the high-profile event of geomatics field in Asia in cooperation with PHOTOMOD dealer in India — OPSIS SYSTEM Company.
Last autumn, in spite of the financial crisis happened in India, conference “FROM IMAGERY TO MAP: digital photogrammetric technologies” was successfully held in Agra. Continuing PHOTOMOD promotion campaign in India, Racurs took part in exhibition Geospatial World Forum 2017, that took place in Hyderabad from 23 to 25 of January.
About 60 booths, mostly of local companies, were presented at the exhibition. Most of the visitors were also representatives of India. Surveying equipment, laser scanners and UAV were the main part of the exhibition. A lot of interesting cloud services were presented.
Main questions of our booth’s visitors were related to 3D modeling of the cities. Many visitors noted PHOTOMOD advantageous capabilities to create both vector 3D models in stereo mode, and models based on point cloud generated by SGM method.
The exhibition was remembered for the fact that the half of the visitors had already well known PHOTOMOD of version 3.0, issued in 2001. Most of active users note demand of detailed report preparation function of each stage of photogrammetric data processing needed when supplying cartographic products for governmental and defense establishment of India.
Recently, UAV survey shows strong growth in India due to difficult access to space and aerial survey. Accordingly, representatives of the field were very interested in new version of PHOTOMOD UAS with updated Interface.
Participation in Geospatial World Forum showed high demand for program complex PHOTOMOD and its new functional capabilities. We thank all visitors of our booth for the interest in our products and services!
